Each head of hair is unique and your hair goals may require extra care, extra time or extra product, meaning we tailor the services needed in each appointment just for you!
With that in mind, please be aware this price guide is designed as a starting point, and if you would like an exact quote please get in touch to book a complimentary consultation.

Specialised cuts for those who wear their hair curly all of the time, includes cleansing, conditioning, scalp massage, styling and tips

Reshape

$138 - Please arrive with clean, dry hair in its natural curly state and allow 1hr 15 minutes. Includes a wash, cut and scrunch dry, styling tips and 2x product samples

Curly Kids

・30 minute curly kids - $50
includes wetting hair with spray bottle, basic cutting and styling tips. Suits: fine, short or baby hair

・45 minute curly kids - $75
includes hair wash, styled cut, basic scrunch dry and styling tips. Suits: medium length, medium density hair

・60 minute curly kids - $100
Includes hair wash, styled cut, scrunch dry and styling tips. Suits very thick or long hair, or those who need extra time or attention

Kids pricing is available 9-5 Tuesday - Friday only, for those up to the age of 18

Extra Time is charged at $20 per 10 minutes.

・If you believe your child will be extremely unsettled, it may be worth booking for extra time to give us a chance to help them feel safe

・extremely knotty hair will not be cut, if a second stylist is required to help detangle, please be aware that extra time may be charged at a rate of $20 per 10 minutes

Stylist Levels:

Junior Stylist

Either a first or second year apprentice, or a support staff member who has been working at Salem for 5+ years and completed essential colour, styling and product training

Rising Stylist

Also called an emerging or academy stylist, just to confuse you! Apprentice who has completed more than 2 years in the industry and is working toward their qualification

Stylist

A stylist has completed all of their training, is newly qualified and working on the floor, providing all services while building their clientele (we don’t currently have anyone sitting at this level, but we’re working on it!)

Senior Stylist

A stylist, but more senior! They will have been having been in the industry 5+ years, having completed extra training and gaining more knowledge and skill

Master Stylist

Have been in the industry at least 10 years, have completed extensive training and upskilling and are true masters of their craft. Have worked at Salem for at least 3 years of this time and have a loyal following
