With that in mind, please be aware this price guide is designed as a starting point, and if you would like an exact quote please get in touch to book a complimentary consultation.

Because each colour service is customised to suit your exact needs, the pricing provided is to offer a general idea.
When comparing pricing (don’t worry, we all do it!), please note all of our colour services are priced as complete packages, and that all foiling and balayage packages
include a toner AND a blowdry
as often at least one of those services will be listed separately in a price list ❤︎

Treatments
Each treatment includes a clarifying shampoo and a scalp massage that'll melt your stresses away. If you're not adding this on to a cut, colour or blow-dry service, then please add $12 for an express dry.
Polish.
An express treatment to take care of your hair concerns: hydrate, moisturise and soften! These treatments take about 5 minutes, and can be added to any service that involves having your hair washed.

Stylist Levels:
Junior Stylist
Either a first or second year apprentice, or a support staff member who has been working at Salem for 5+ years and completed essential colour, styling and product training
Rising Stylist
An apprentice who has completed at least 3 years in the industry and is working toward their qualification - our two rising stylists Maria and Gen have both finished their apprenticeship training and completed all of their apprenticeship assessments, and will be sitting their final assessments at the end of 2025! All global colour packages with them are 10% off and foiling/balayage is 20% off until they are done xo
Stylist
A qualified stylist who is working on the floor with their own clientele. (We don’t currently have anyone sitting at this level, but we’re working on it!)
Senior Stylist
A stylist, but more senior! They will have been in the industry 5+ years, having completed extra training and gaining more knowledge and skill
Master Stylist
Have been in the industry at least 10 years, have completed extensive training and upskilling and are true masters of their craft. Have worked at Salem for at least 3 years of this time and have a loyal following
