We are taught as hairdressers that everything is all about the client. But this page is going to be all about me, so if you’re not interested in me, I probably wouldn’t bother reading the rest!
I have been hairdressing since 2007, gaining my qualification and many other certifications along the way. I’ve always been creative, enjoying painting, drawing, designing, crafts and DIY. I’d always hoped to be an architect but it turns out I’m not very good at physics or math so here we are! I love learning and hair colouring is my passion.
I am lucky enough to have built a super awesome regular clientele over the years, which means my appointments tend to book quite far in advance, because of this I can only currently take new clients for daytime appointments on week days - unless I have a cancellation then these spots are first in best dressed! Keep an eye on my instagram story @colouredbylaurie for any of these that pop up!

Any colour that falls outside the realms of a 1 step colouring process and a toner is called colour correction. The reason we have an hourly cost rather than a cost per process is that during that time you will be our only client and we will do whatever is necessary to get your hair the closest to your hair goal as possible.
The easiest way to book is by sending me a DM on instagram - @colouredbylaurie but you can also call the salon on 049745637
If you are wanting a colour service that falls outside of these packages (such as a retouch, or a global colour) we would still be more than happy to see you so please don’t feel discouraged!
Ella will be slowly taking over the more basic colour work in the salon (like the ones listed above) so that our senior stylists have more time to create, and services like a half head of foils can easily be altered to fit into the packages.
I believe that hairdressing is a form of art, colouring is a type of painting and lately I’ve felt a bit like I’m painting my house every day. This in itself isn’t a problem, I love my clients, I love my team, I love my job, and I actually really enjoy painting my house, I just want the chance to be more creative!
I’ve not been able to take new clients for 2 years due to having so many wonderful regular clients, so I have brought on new team members who are going to help me with some of the more basic services, so that I can start doing some of the artwork again.
These packages are available with all stylists,
although pricing may vary.
